The events of Platypus Reclayed unfold as the overcrowded Collosatropolis sets its sights on neighboring Mungola for expansion. Choked by smog, the metropolis sends its formidable battle fleet to seize new lands. The inhabitants of Mungola are forced to rely on the only force capable of defending them. A squadron of aging F-27 fighters becomes their last hope against the full might of the invaders, laying the foundation for a desperate defensive campaign.
