Publisher Kodansha has announced the release of its unusual live-action romance game, Sweet Hamster Days. The project has already gained a scandalous reputation due to its removal from Steam and its risqué plot, in which the player assumes the role of a pet hamster belonging to three beautiful sisters. Sweet Hamster Days is an FMV game created in collaboration with the Japanese magazine FRIDAY. The project is marketed as an isekai "care simulator": the protagonist, Kota, dies in an accident and is reincarnated as a hamster named Hamta. Ironically, his new owners are the three Shiratori sisters, his childhood friends.
