Love Elections and Chocolate centers on Oojima Yuuki, a student at Takafuji Academy, a massive institution with thousands of students and enough extracurricular activities to fill a small town. He and his childhood friend, Sumiyoshi Chisato, spend their time in the Culinary Research Club, a group that exists more for snacking than actual research. Their laid-back routine at Love, Elections, and Chocolate is upended when the upcoming student council elections threaten the existence of society.
