Criminal showdowns in the game Fading Afternoon take place on the territory of a small Japanese town where the yakuza flourishes. The main character is Seiji Maruyama, a middle-aged man recently released from prison. The character has the nickname Gozuki and has incredible strength and reflexes that help him survive in dangerous skirmishes and shootouts with opponents. The game is a 2D beat-em-up made in old-fashioned pixel graphics. The fast-paced combat in Fading Afternoon is filled with lots of interactive interactions and scenarios that add an epic feel to the action. Players will attack using kicks, punches, and whatever tools they can find. Heroes will be able to throw knives at their opponents, stab with katanas or shoot with pistols. Battles take place on city streets, where enemies can attack from two sides at once, forcing you to aggressively move around the map.
