Vile Matter — the developers either hide or submit many details of the plot of their game through hints and ambiguous statements. The following is authentically known the main character lives in a dying world, filled to the brim with riddles. His journey begins in a series of rooms, to get out of which is more difficult than it seems at first glance. In order to gain freedom, he will not only have to go through a lot of tests and solve many puzzles, but also to catch a mysterious person, always one step ahead of him. In this «prison of shadows» ominous entities rule, and our hero must outwit them, otherwise the darkness will swallow him, and he will never solve the mystery of what is happening around the madness.
