Octopath Traveler 2 is a Japanese RPG. The action takes place in Solistia, a country consisting of the eastern and western continents separated by the sea. There is a busy era when large ships plow the sea trade routes, and the power of steam gives rise to new technologies. Some people admire the glamorous stars of the stage and industry, while others are brought to tears by war, plague and poverty. In this distant realm, eight travelers from different regions set out on their journey for their own reasons. You need to take their place and explore the land at your own discretion. The player acts as Hikari and is a warrior. The hero’s story begins in the desert region of Hinoeuma.

He is the junior prince of Ku, a people forever at war. Hoping to bring peace to his people, he embarks on a journey to seek out his like-minded allies. To get skills that can be used in battle, you need to challenge the inhabitants of cities to duels and win. Also, the gamer can choose any other character with special characteristics and combat skills. For example, Agnea Bristarni is a dancer. She will provoke the townspeople into fighting. Oswald Wenstein is a scientist. He will collect information from the inhabitants of the city, like a real spy.
