The Ranch of Rivershine is an adventure game with elements of a farm simulator and economic strategy, in which the user becomes the owner of his own ranch. The main character is a young girl who inherits this paradise from her parents. Now the ranch is going through far from the best of times many buildings are already living out their time, there are few food supplies for horses, and the money has almost run out. The gamer is obliged to develop the universe of The Ranch of Rivershine and turn a run-down place into a prosperous land where horses live in harmony with humans. Here, the girl is by no means alone — she is able to hire a variety of workers, including a carpenter, gardener, artisan and others. The craftsman is able to create tools as well as horseshoes for animals.
