About This Game

Overview

Caves of Qud is a sci-fi game in the genre of a traditional roguelike. The style of the game is made in classic pixel design. You find yourself in an exotic world where there are many intelligent plants. Arriving on new lands, you have to decide: is the territory on the verge of destruction or is it worthy of revival? You will play as a mutant — an indigenous inhabitant of the jungle. Or take on the role of one of the eco-domes — the toxic arboretum of Ekuemekie. This tribe once lived in the Holy City, now covered in ice arcology Ibula. At the beginning of the game, you find yourself in the village of Joppa, located in Mograya, among the Great Salt Desert. Meet farmers growing moisture. Visit huts made of rock salt and salt marshes.

You have access to weapons: a rifle, a vibroknife, a scroll, a poisonous sting or a hypnotized goat. You can customize your hero with 70 mutations and 24 types of castes. You can create a character with wings, two heads, feathers, four arms, flaming hands or learn the ability to clone yourself. The locations in Caves of Qud are randomly generated. You can dig the ground to find treasures and hoards. When fighting monsters, you can cut off any limb. There are about 60 different factions available. The plot focuses on you following the trail of Barathrum the Old — an intelligent cave bear who leads a sect of masters who are able to bring the former greatness to Kudu.

Instructions

1. The first thing we do is download the game’s installation files.
2. Unzip the archive to the hard disk.
3. Mount or burn the ISO image in the disk emulator (UltraISO program).
4. After mount ISO, go to the folder and run the file «setup.exe».
5. During the installation, we specify the location on the disk where we want to install it.
6. Copy the contents of the folder «CRACK» in the folder with the game.
7. Download and install Update v1.0.2, in game folder.
8. Launch the game!
