Travelers Refrain is a dark, story-driven RPG from Red Essence Games where you play as Traveler, a man searching for his lost love by challenging the Mecha Goddesses of Fate. Armed with a magical bouzouki, you’ll cast chanting spells and wield rudimentary melee weapons in a fluid combat system that rewards accuracy and musical prowess. The game takes you through a mysterious, forbidden forest filled with terrifying creatures, puzzles, and secrets. As you progress through the game, your choices shape an evolving soundtrack, creating a personalized musical experience. Customizable gameplay allows you to develop your own style as you conquer challenging dungeons and multi-stage boss battles. The game features a hand-drawn art style, layered music, and voice acting from multi-genre artist Essenger and various metal artists.
