Midnight Mayhem v0.47.0 (upd.04.06.2025)

Midnight Mayhem is an asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror game developed by Gradient Games that pits 2-6 players against each other in a deadly game of cat and mouse. One player takes control of an evolving monster with 18 different abilities that change unpredictably, forcing it to adapt its hunting strategy on the fly, while the remaining players must work together as survivors to find and banish the creature.

The core gameplay revolves around stealth and survival mechanics, where the player-monster becomes completely invisible in the shadows, but must avoid light sources at all costs. Survivors must use proximity chat to coordinate their actions, as well as use 5 primary weapons and 6 different gadgets to protect themselves and hunt down their supernatural predator. The monster wins by systematically hunting the survivors it catches off guard, and the survivors must stick together and avoid light sources to spot their invisible enemy.

The game features 4 different maps with ambient audio effects like echo that enhance the proximity chat system, creating an atmosphere where communication and positioning are crucial. Players can customize their experience with 4 gameplay modulators that change the dynamics of the match, 11 unlockable character masks, and 6 emotes to add personality. With Xbox controller support and complex mechanics that require quick thinking and strategic planning, Midnight Mayhem is an intense indie horror that rewards both teamwork and cunning.
