Spear Build 18589069 (upd.08.06.2025) - TENOKE

Spear is an action-adventure platformer in which you play as Default, a background NPC who must save a corrupted digital world after the protagonist dies due to a fatal error. Armed only with a spear, you will navigate through glitched levels filled with broken quests and faulty gameplay mechanics. The spear serves as your primary tool for combat and movement, and can strike enemies, cause telekinesis, slow down time, create platforms, and cross impossible gaps.

The game’s world is intentionally broken, with broken code that manifests itself in unpredictable difficulty spikes and mutating enemies that become more powerful as you progress. You will encounter depressed NPCs with broken quests that need fixing, adding a therapeutic element to the chaotic gameplay. The inventory system encourages experimentation with mysterious potions and items that produce unpredictable transformations and effects.

Exploration reveals an increasingly bizarre world map, full of hidden secrets and surprises behind every broken pixel. The game makes no secret of its glitchy nature, with bugs literally turning into explosive enemies that become increasingly aggressive based on your power level. Spear is a meta-game that turns technical glitches into a core gameplay mechanic, creating a unique adventure where fixing the game world becomes your unexpected mission.
