Holder of Place is a roguelike card game with auto-combat that pits you against a dying kingdom consumed by a primal darkness unleashed by a young dragon. Developed by Ardent Fields, the game tasks you with recruiting followers, building synergies, and advancing deeper into the fading kingdom, ultimately confronting the dragon itself. Each quest presents intense combat encounters, strategic party building decisions, and unpredictable events as you face waves of increasingly fierce enemies.

You'll recruit over 150 unique followers and trinkets, each with special properties that unlock various tactical combinations when deployed correctly. The auto-combat system allows you to watch your assembled party fight automatically, making strategic positioning and composition key to survival. The game's dark sci-fi setting encompasses terrifying dreams, ancient battlefields, and enclaves of arcane cults, hiding secrets about your past life and the dragon's true origins.
