Eastern Tactics is a turn-based tactical adventure whose gameplay is built around a deep squad development system and challenging battles. Each battle presents a serious challenge, requiring careful selection of equipment for your characters and the mastery of new abilities. Confronting unique and powerful bosses requires gamers to develop an individual approach, as standard combat methods prove ineffective.

The events unfold in an alternate version of the Tang Dynasty, where the descendants of renowned commanders must challenge their predetermined destiny. A key element of the narrative in Eastern Tactics are Incarnates demonic entities that imbue their bearers with supernatural abilities. According to the laws of this world, only another of their kind can defeat the wielder of such power.
