Wicked Seed is a horror RPG whose combat system combines tactical turn-based attacks with real-time action. The protagonist, Ellas survival depends directly on mastering these mechanics, including dodging and parrying. Each encounter with nightmarish creatures requires careful management of stamina, and discovering and exploiting enemy vulnerabilities unlocks permanent bonuses, which are recorded in the bestiary.

Defeating monsters rewards experience points, which are used to boost key stats: attack, defense, resistance, agility, and luck. The plot sends the heroine to Maine at her brother's request, where she must confront the consequences of strange events in his company. Exploring the world of Wicked Seed unfolds the narrative through notes, cutscenes, and character dialogue. Exploring misty forests, abandoned tunnels, and deserted city streets is key to progression. To uncover the truth and survive, you must:

• Carefully explore dark locations in search of valuable resources.
• Solve optional puzzles to obtain unique items.
• Use safehouses to recuperate and upgrade discovered weapons.
• Find keys, master keys, and collectible figurines to access new areas.
