About The Game
Shadows of Deceit is a visual novel for adults centered on the consequences of an ancient pact made with a deity. The story begins after the sudden death of the protagonist's father, John. While rummaging through old belongings in the attic, the protagonist and his mother, Susan, discover a mysterious tome. This discovery awakens the entity trapped within the book Elaria, who introduces herself as the Goddess of Temptation.
It turns out that her late father made a deal with her for power and wealth, but broke it when he fell in love with Susan. Now, Elaria's supernatural influence begins to permeate the daily lives of the son and mother, distorting their relationship. As the plot of Shadows of Deceit unfolds, innocent gestures and casual touches between the protagonist and Susan become filled with forbidden attraction. Elaria forces the protagonist to choose: resist her will or accept the gift that grants access to limitless pleasures. Accepting the goddess's offer means completely immersing yourself in the world of seduction.
