Cursed Affection puts you in the shoes of a marshal assigned to a small, crumbling town with a population of less than 300. The town seems to be dying in earnest, its streets are quiet, and its future is uncertain. You begin the game with a routine task of maintaining law and order in the town, but things quickly take a strange turn. One evening, just as you're finishing your shift, a call comes in about people tinkering with torches in an old, abandoned church. At first, it seems like a strange and innocuous call, but it leads you to a discovery that lays the foundation for everything that follows. The church ruins harbor secrets you never expected. As you enter the crumbling structure, an unsettling tension hangs in the air.

There, you discover a young girl, injured, unconscious, and apparently abandoned in the midst of an occult ritual. The scene is eerie, and there's no explanation as to why the girl is there or what she could be involved in. Without thinking, you do everything possible to save her and take her to the police station. The plot of Cursed Affection Love and Darkness unfolds when you realize that your girlfriend, a nurse at the same station, will soon be drawn into this strange and dark event. From this point on, the game leads you down a path where the lines between the natural and the supernatural begin to blur. Strange events begin to unfold around you.
