Break the Chain is a physics-based obstacle-traversal simulator where cooperative survival hinges on an unbreakable bond between characters. Shackled together by a sturdy metal chain, the protagonists must coordinate every move to escape their gloomy, confined environment. The game offers two distinct modes: a test of individual endurance for solo players and a challenge requiring seamless teamwork for pairs. In Break the Chain, a single slip-up by one partner instantly drags everyone down to the bottom of the level. There is no traditional combat system; instead, success demands absolute focus, composure, and precise timing to solve complex spatial puzzles. Overcoming obstacles and progressing through the game relies on strictly adhering to several key principles.
