In an alternate 2035 where Africa has become the battleground of private armies, the only currency that matters is firepower and the discipline to aim it. Warhounds is a brutal tactical simulator from Everplay DMCC, published by Brightika, Inc., pitting a private military company against the Daamat group.

The combat model is built on honesty. Turn based battles emphasize fair ballistics and fully transparent rules, so the point blank misses that plague the genre simply do not exist here. Operations run between 25 and 40 minutes and demand real consideration of terrain elevation, cover and firing arcs. Every shot is treated as a physical event, which means a bullet that misses its target can still damage the environment around it or, worse, strike one of your own. The battlefield keeps score without mercy.

Between contracts, the mobile headquarters keeps the war machine running. You manage the budget, procure equipment, treat the wounded and navigate faction diplomacy, with each decision feeding back into the next deployment. War here is logistics with a trigger. Five infantry classes form the backbone of your force, reinforced by unique veterans who carry their own personalities and full voice acting. Strategic planning leans on intelligence gathering and high tech equipment, from autonomous drones and optical camouflage to combat exoskeletons and smoke screens.

The campaign understands that consequences matter. Completing contracts directly shifts the balance of power across the region and opens access to new resources, so the map evolves around your choices. Adjustable difficulty lets the experience become either a rigorous test or a more comfortable adventure, without softening the core realism.
