About This Game

Overview

Go explore the surrounding locations, simultaneously firing off an army of the walking dead. You will need any weapon that you can find on your way. Try to finish your affairs outside before dark, zombies do not tolerate daylight. As soon as the sun sets, you should take care of a safe overnight stay by arranging a semblance of a home or building impenetrable barricades.

Near such buildings, you can arrange insidious traps that will warn you about the approach of zombies and slightly reduce the number of attackers. When traveling around locations, gather your team from other survivors, however, with the increase in the number of your squad, the world will pose an even greater threat.

Version 1.02 [EA] is now live with the following new features, improvements and bug fixes:

FEATURES
New "Friends only" and "Public" options when starting a game lets you decide who can join you on your journey. If you select "Friends only" then only survivors on your Steam Friends List will be able to see your session and join it
New "Show Friends only" option on the Join Game menu will filter sessions started by your friends for easy joining
FIXES
The Join Game menu now scrolls when there are too many games in the list for a single screen
The player count in an online game displays correctly in the Join Game menu
Zombies will now use windows more easily in some houses
Melee attacks now have a larger radius of effect for easier smashing of obstacles and zombies
You can no longer dodge-roll in cut-scenes
Events will now disappear after completion more reliably
Fixed some collision bounds on some obstacles to make navigating easier

Survivors! Version 1.06 [EA] is now live with the following:

FEATURES

• New "Suburbs Woods" zone between the Lower & Upper Suburbs (around 9 miles to safety)
• Defending the Docks area is now more difficult due to more ramps
• Reset to Defaults added to both main menu & in-game Settings > Controls menus

FIXES

• Fixed some issues loading checkpoints created from the Save & Quit menu
• Removed the Select Melee Weapon mapping (it was redundant)
• Unmapped keys now fixed at game start-up automatically
• Options sub-menu no longer overlaps the main menu on some resolutions
• The Spiked Barricade now damages enemies correctly
• Weapon no longer fires when skipping cutscenes/speech bubbles
• Fixed an issue with second player sometimes spawning below floor when both players are killed
• Players can no longer enter the burning apartment building in the City

New Scientist Character - a hazmat-suited character who's impervious to fire.
New Mobile Lab missions - complete specific kill challenges in each zone to be rewarded with loot and computer logs charting the story of the infection.
New Taser melee weapon - Shocks and stuns enemies... the non-lethal option!
Reworked and optimized co-op multiplayer code.
Off-screen mission pointers now more accurate.
Lots of bug fixes and optimizations.
