Overview

Throw all your efforts to recreate the cult technique, you can independently place towers and cannons, specify the parameters of armor, and skillfully place a funnel. Instructions

1. The first thing we do is download the game’s installation files.
2. Unzip the archive to the hard disk.
3. Mount or burn the ISO image in the disk emulator (UltraISO program).
4. After mount ISO, go to the folder and run the file «setup.exe».
5. During the installation, we specify the location on the disk where we want to install it.

Minor Update v1.4.0.5 Rx2

Hello all,

We continue to provide optimizations and fixes on the game. Our goal is to have a game that plays optimally, before our next content updates, which will mainly offer new hull models.

This update had to bring some armor and engine weights optimizations which may affect your designs, mostly positive, because you will notice a surplus of tonnage for higher tonnage ships.

The Campaign AI has been improved and is now able to adapt its ships better to the technology it has acquired.

Depending on the status of your ongoing campaign and the above, you may notice the AI to be overly active in designing ships and discard obsolete or invalid designs for consecutive turns, and you may have to re-adjust the tonnage of your old designs with a refit.

Please read the shortlist below, for more information:

*Minor Update v1.4.0.5*
- More game optimizations for faster campaign turns and AI shipbuilding processes. Additionally the AI now tries to design ships of the latest tech with more persistence. After installing this patch, in ongoing campaigns the turns may be temporarily slower due to the AI trying to adapt better to the technology. In new campaigns, this process will be more progressive and subtle.
- ASW of Surface ships enhanced in effect (to counter better the submarines)
- Base GDP improved for the weaker major nations, reducing the economic gap between them and the larger nations.
- Slight rebalance of Engine cost/ horsepower to make more distinct the difference between the various engines. This change will increase the cost of ships but may provide more free tonnage to your designs.
- Armor weights balanced to not restrict so much the large ships to become armored sufficiently. In most cases you will notice a small amount of free tonnage to most of your ships, especially the larger ones. Ships that may become overweight, depending on their design and various armor layouts, will need to be adjusted accordingly to be valid designs. This was an essential improvement asked by players but also required for ships of very large displacement to be useful (the auto-design also benefited, because previously it was delayed to finalize ships trying to find optimal armor layouts that were very heavy and difficult to balance).
- Fix of an old bug that caused hull cost modifiers to not apply. The fix affected the cost of ships, but now this works correctly. Mission funds were adjusted to follow all the above changes.
- Fix of issue causing allies of a nation to send land army aid without being at war yet with the enemy of the ally.
- Battle AI and Targeting optimizations.
- Other minor improvements.

Optimization Update v1.4.1.0

Hello all admirals and fellow supporters of our game,

We hope you are having happy holidays with your family and friends. We present another optimization update that offers improvements and fixes based on your recent feedback. Here is what it includes:

*Optimization Update v1.4.1.0*
- Some further optimizations on the auto-design processes to speed up campaign generation and campaign turns.
- Difficulty level of campaign now impacts the research and AI income bonuses have been re-balanced. The goal is to offer a more comfortable gameplay experience according to the difficulty rate of the game.
- Improved the Campaign AI scrap logic so that it does not mass-scrap its fleet.
- Improved the Campaign AI delete design logic so that it is less often to have many nations delete and design new ships at the same turn.
- Auto-Resolve balanced to be more consistent. Sometimes a single DD can do some unwanted damage, but this can happen in live combat too.
- Fixed an old rare issue causing shells to pass through hulls without registering a hit.
- Fixed some old issues with the gun weights, for example 7 inch guns being heavier than 8 inch guns on some techs. This change may affect your saved designs to make them either overweight or gain some extra weight space.
- Fixed various minor issues on hulls and gun models that were reported.
- Minor other optimizations affecting various aspects of the game.

Due to the necessary changes in the weights of the guns that was mentioned in the list, your saved designs will be affected and some of them may become overweight and they will need a refit. The AI will also attempt to refit those designs in your campaigns, resulting in some of the beginning turns of your saved games to be slower.

If you do not want to update, then you can switch to the older version v1.4.0.9 Optx5 using the new Steam's branch "Previous stable version" as shown in the image:

v1.6.1.3 Optx6 "Fixes and improvements"

Hello everyone,

Here is another essential update for the game, offering fixes and gameplay enhancements. Read below:

*v1.6.1.3*
- Fixed bug that caused ships to get deleted from the campaign.
- Fixed bugs that could cause issues in fleet management window, or refit components to become reset.
- Shell ballistics adjustments (affects range, accuracy and final penetration power). Secondary gun ranges are increased.
- Battle AI adjustments to find a better optimal range, based on shell ballistics.
- Ship acceleration mechanics optimizations, addressing cases where ships could often stall and not accelerate fast enough and also increasing the fps performance as the calculations are less.
- Major nations will attack smaller nations with more probability if they are their enemies and have adjacent territories.
- The effective army force will now become reduced gradually if the army budget becomes too large compared to the GDP. This should create a realistic result of the effective armies becoming smaller in extended wars and nations will eventually stop doing endless major offensives that they cannot afford. Army costs have been balanced accordingly.
- Fix of a minor issue in crew calculations creating a wrong difference of one crew.
- Fixed shared designs not being available for the AI enemy in custom battles.
- Other minor fixes.

Uploaded optimized version including the following:
- Major nations can now directly order naval invasions against minor nations that are allied with enemy major nations.
- Fix of some old pathfinding issues in the map, happening often near Kamchatka area.
- Fixed errors reported related with refit and war reparation designs.
- Fixed minor inconsistency in tonnage calculations when too many task forces entered the mission zone.
- Fixed issues reported for formations, improving now how ships catch up with the formation or automatically avoid torpedoes and other obstacles.
- Fine tuned new ship acceleration mechanics.
- Fine tuned armor penetration threshold after the latest shell ballistic changes. Armor should be more durable now.
You have to restart Steam to get this update fast
