Overview
The offshoot with the subtitle Saga developers conceived for smaller, but also noteworthy historical events. In Thrones of Britannia, passions boil exclusively on the British Isles, it’s a story about how today’s UK was formed, a bloody process, but very exciting. The great army of the Vikings has failed, but many have settled on the lands of the Britons. The descendants of the Celts and the Anglo-Saxons are considering the establishment of centralized power over all the Foggy Albion, and the fair-haired robbers on the Drakkars are increasingly tormenting coastal settlements. The reduced area of the global map is confusing only at first. The islands are densely populated, cities and settlements of dozens of factions-states are located in one pedestrian crossing from one another. On the lands of Albion there are no sad emptiness: everything is densely set among the forests and mountains, and we do not have to go a few strokes in the faceless wilderness, as in Medieval 2. Reducing the spaces only added to the game of dynamism.
