Rooten — is a small dark adventure of an ordinary person in a deep forest. Cut off from civilization and any connection with the outside world, our hero is left alone with himself, the forest and something else for a whole week. Time is not tied to the actions of the player in any way. Days just follow each other, whether you like it or not. You are free to wander through the forest, explore its darkest nooks, or just sit on the porch of the hut and wait for the helicopter to arrive and pick you up.

The forest lives its own, inhuman life, and this life is strangely intertwined with the life of the hero of the game. And to look for these weaves or not is already a personal matter for everyone. At the end of each game day, you have to return to the hut, sit down at the typewriter and draw up reports about what you have seen and experienced, and through these reports the player will get to know the main character, his thoughts and experiences.
