The Sims 4 Seasons — the fifth addition to the game The Sims 4. About This Game

Overview

Each season of the year in The Sims 4 «Seasons» has its own characteristics: winter snowfall, blossoming spring flowers, refreshing rain, lightning, golden autumn foliage. Each sim has an indicator showing the temperature of the body: the sim can freeze in winter or overheat in hot weather. This is also the first addition to The Sims 4, where a new town does not appear.

Together with the seasons, the addition introduces calendar and seasonal holidays. In the new year, Sims decorate the tree, give gifts and meet «Santa Claus», or in the spring, children can search for Easter eggs. In the «Day of Love» it is customary to give flowers and go on dates, on the «Harvest Day» — arrange a family dinner from the harvested crop. In addition, the player himself can create holidays, selecting the right rules, traditions and attributes from an accessible list, for example, dressing up in costumes, remembering the deceased, making fun with the water and so on.

Instructions

Hi! I just downloaded the full game yesterday but it was before seasons was released. Is there anyway I can just download the Seasons DLC and not the whole game? I dont want to redownload all 27 GB for 1 DLC.

Hi, when I mount and start the setup, a black blank error box labeled ISDone.dll pops up, not even a few seconds after initiating install. Any reason why it's doing this?

can someone please tell me how to install the two update codex? Ive tried via the set up button and it all installs but as soon as i try to open the game i get the canot open Origin error box :-( so need help and advice on how to add them so it works,

Download and install update v1.44.83.1020 / v1.44.88.1020, copy the contents of the folder «CODEX» in the folder with the game.

1. You down. 1-st. upd. v1.44.83.1020, then v1.44.88.1020.
2. Open folder update (the one that was downloaded earlier 1.44.83.1020.)
2.1. Start file "setup.exe", install update in game folder.

I think ive sorted it out it was part of the antivirus on the pc causing the issue although i had turned windows defender off, windows defender smart screen was still running so when i told it to update it buggerd it up causing the no origin, Hopfully now its good to go fingers and toes crossed. What do you mean with "local settings"? There is no way to change it through either "ini-file" or in regedit?

Thanks Admin, the game works prefectly fine. I just need to exclude OrangEmu.dll in my antivirus setting, that's all. In been awhile since I played The Sims, kinda overwhelmed with sooo much contents in this release, ahaha.

But I have a question. Looking at the included content (or DLCs) of 'v1.45.62.1020', it includes less staff than the previous 'v1.44.77.1020'. At least the DLCs list is shorter than v1.44.x

So, which one should I download to have the most complete one? Thanks!
