Paradox Interactive and Harebrained Schemes have shared the release trailer for the Heavy Metal add-on for their tactical BATTLETECH strategy. You can purchase and test the new product right now on the PC. In total, the DLC introduced eight mechs in BattleTech — seven classic from the legendary past of the gaming universe and one completely new. It also added eight new guns designed to expand the tactical elements of the gameplay — with the Mech Mortar gun, for example, you can destroy several enemies at the same time. In addition, the game has another Flashpoint storyline campaign. Within its framework, gamers will meet the Trophy Hunter and the Black Widow of the Wolf Dragoons, as well as try to seize the mysterious cargo from the depths of space.

Not so long ago, Paradox Interactive and Harebrained Schemes studio showed a Urban Warfare add-on trailer for BattleTech. Addition DLC will add to the game a new type of locations — a city in which the viewing angle is limited and you can use the environment to your advantage. The game will also be added two new furs for the player and three types of enemies, EW tools and a fairly large number of new missions.

BattleTech Flashpoint is the first addition to the BattleTech tactical strategy, which will add new story missions, three new furs and a tropical biome. New missions received a similar name — Flashpoints. These are procedurally generated tasks, combined into a general storyline by the consequences of decisions taken, crew conversations and special events. Some missions will receive the mechanics of successive landings, which will not allow players to repair furs between battles. Addition will also add a new type of mission called Target Acquisition. Players will need to establish control over the three zones on the map in order to successfully complete the mission.
