Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTORS CUT is an action-adventure game set during the historical Mongol invasion of Japan in 1274. Although the game is inspired by real events, it does not strive for historical accuracy. Players step into the shoes of Jin, the last surviving samurai of the Sakai clan, who embarks on a quest to repel the Mongol invaders and defeat Khotun Khan. The game offers an expansive open-world experience, combining action-adventure gameplay with stealth elements. In Ghost of Tsushima, players can freely explore the island of Tsushima, utilizing unique navigation methods. The direction of the wind points to objectives, birds guide players to hot springs and bonfires, foxes lead to Inari shrines, and liberated prisoners reveal new locations.
