Sunkenland v0.8.04 (upd.06.07.2026)

Sunkenland offers a unique and captivating post-apocalyptic setting. The idea of a submerged world presents an intriguing challenge, and the title delivers on that challenge. Exploring the submerged ruins of the old world is a visual spectacle, an impressive attention to detail in the underwater environment. The crafting system in Sunkenland is well thought out, allowing users to mine resources and craft useful tools and vehicles. Base building and customization is fun, and the variety of base locations adds depth to the gameplay. The presence of both friendly and hostile marine life adds an element of unpredictability to ocean exploration. It forces you to be alert and increases your interest in surviving in this aquatic world.

The co-op gameplay is a great addition to encourage teamwork and make the game even more enjoyable with friends. However, it would be nice to have more options for single player as well. One aspect I appreciate is the attention to realism when it comes to the dangers of underwater survival. The need to control diving devices, account for radiation and cope with pressure gives the gameplay an additional level of complexity and immersion.
