Sweet Transit is a game where everything depends on the train connection. The better it is organized, the happier the people around, and the industries bring more profit, because they have more opportunities for export. In addition, a society develops better when it has good transport links and can exchange goods and knowledge. The main character was entrusted with the development of one of the settlements, where they decided to build a railway for the first time after the invention of steam engines and the first steam locomotives. The protagonist must develop the primary infrastructure, find markets for the resources found, and gradually build new production facilities.

Thanks to the expansion of the number of jobs, spontaneous settlements and villages for workers will gradually begin to be built. They should also provide a route for the supply of important items for a comfortable life and listen to wishes. After all, happy employees will be more productive and organize fewer protests or boycotts. Therefore, it is worth taking their complaints into account, especially if they are serious. In Sweet Transit it is important to think through every step. There is no clear scenario for development or routes for building paths, so everyone can show both strategic and creative thinking. Gradually, trains will develop and slowly move away from steam models, moving to thermal ones, so the fuel will change, and the need for it will increase.
