Dead Weight throws you into a world on the edge of an abyss. You control a flying pirate ship as you navigate a steampunk sky dotted with floating islands. This turn-based RPG adventure is no joke — the ancient gods have stirred, and the fate of the world rests on your shoulders. So what should you do? Fight these cosmic villains face to face, or maybe there is a secret library of forbidden knowledge hidden somewhere? The choice is yours, but fasten your seat belts — there are serious challenges awaiting you at the end of the game that will test your strategic acumen. The fact is that battles take place on tiny maps. Every move matters.

Don’t fire the cannons you’ll have to upgrade your ship, train your crew, and do some real tactics. Good news? There’s a huge skill tree and as many as 15 classes (you can mix and match them!). Basically, you can create the pirate captain of your dreams — one who will outsmart the gods and conquer the skies. Speaking of heaven, exploration is an important part of the game. You’ll navigate your way through steampunk clouds, discovering ancient ruins and lost islands. The pixel art style gives the world a cool retro vibe, allowing you to focus on adventure and loot (hopefully there is some!). Dead Weight may not hold your hand, but that’s half the fun — figuring out the situation, putting together a team, and maybe even chatting with the ancient gods.
