10 Dead Doves is a third-person indie horror game. It has a fixed camera. Its angle changes automatically when moving between rooms, like in old console horror games. When interacting with some interactive objects (for example: when reading notes) and looking at quest items, the view from the eyes appears for a short time. The indie project has 3D graphics stylized as old video games. The developers specially added low-poly trembling textures so that their creation visually resembles hits from fifth-generation consoles. You can control the character’s movements using the keyboard and mouse. There is also support for gamepads. The name of the video game is translated as 10 dead doves.

Its action takes place in the USA. The plot tells the story of a tourist named Marcus Stetson. His creepy adventures begin in 2004. Together with his old friend Sean, an avid tourist enthusiast goes on a hike. The men want to overcome the Appalachian Trail and test their willpower. However, fate has prepared more severe tests for them. In the wilderness, the car breaks down, and the guys set off on foot in search of help. Soon after, all sorts of devilry begins to happen around them. And then they even notice that they are being followed by a mysterious figure that looks like a bird. The storyline is presented through cutscenes and cutscenes with dialogues. All the characters are voiced. The story is non-linear. The narrative has several endings.
