The Haunting of Joni Evers is an adventure game with horror elements that allows us to learn the fate of the title heroine and her broken family. The game is developed by the independent American team Causeway Studios and is their debut project. The Haunting of Joni Evers takes place in the town of Harvest in the American state of Oklahoma, and more specifically in an old residence known as Cunningham House. Although life was once in full swing here, now Joni Evers lives here alone, torn away from her family. A quarrel that one day occurs between the heroine and her only friend draws Joni into a whirlwind of strange events. Trying to understand their nature, we learn stories and secrets from the life of Joni’s family, as well as the reasons why our main character leads a solitary life.

We can also find out whether the main character is troubled by a supernatural force or is it just earthly sadness and sorrow. All this means that over time we will get a chance to reunite Joni with her loved ones. In The Haunting of Joni Evers we observe the events from the first person perspective (FPP). During the game we go through different rooms of the residence, interacting with objects and items, as well as solving environmental puzzles. Looking at family photos and reading diaries, we gradually learn more about Joni and her family. The Haunting of Joni Evers features music written by Gustavo Coutinho, known for the soundtrack to the game PayDay 3. The voice of the main character was given by actress Kelly Pekar.

Instructions

1. The first thing we do is download the game’s installation files.
2. Unzip the archive to the hard disk.
3. Mount or burn the ISO image in the disk emulator (UltraISO program). 
4. After mount ISO, go to the folder and run the file «setup.exe».
5. During the installation, we specify the location on the disk where we want to install it.
6. Copy the contents of the folder «CRACK» in the folder with the game.  
7. At the end of the unpacking process, a shortcut appears on the desktop.
