The Edge of Allegoria is a retro-styled indie RPG that puts a quirky spin on classic turn-based combat. Set in a world filled with both traditional fantasy creatures and quirky enemies like ferocious Canada geese, the game features over 144 unique enemies to battle. The combat system revolves around collecting monster parts for profit and mastering a vast arsenal of gear over 150 items to collect and 80 different skills to learn.

Unlike typical RPG where players are stuck with their favorite gear, Allegoria encourages players to constantly swap out gear to become stronger and learn new abilities. The 2-bit pixel art aesthetic pays homage to classic handheld RPGs while also offering an offbeat narrative filled with crude humor and quirky characters. While the NPCs populate the world as mostly comical banter, some offer valuable quests for gold and items. The plot is deliberately hidden under layers of madness and absurdity, focusing on an irreverent take on fantasy RPG tropes.
