About The Game
BodyRecords is a co-op adventure game developed by MIROWIN that creates a unique horror experience through a bodycam perspective and microphone sensitivity mechanics. Players explore creepy liminal spaces, solving puzzles and dodging dangers, while your voice can warn of approaching creatures. The game features intuitive puzzles set in atmospheric environments where teamwork is not only encouraged, but necessary to progress. Death transports players to the mysterious Backrooms dimension, offering a chance to escape back to the main world of the game. BodyRecords' hallmark is its combination of environmental exploration with true co-op gameplay, requiring players to carefully communicate and work together to uncover secrets and escape the environment.

How to Install
1. The first thing we do is download the game files.
2. Unzip the archive to the hard disk. (how to unzip .rar)
3. Wait for the unpacking process to finish.
4. Start the game «BodyRecords.exe» from game folder.
5. The language changes in the menu.
BodyRecords – Multiplayer Setup Guide
Step 1: Game Installation
1.1) Download the Game

Download BodyRecords via torrent for free (latest Steam version, Portable).

Includes: Integrated Steam Fix.
1.2) Download the Online Multiplayer Fix

Download the BodyRecords Multiplayer Fix (Steam Fix).
-
Install (extract) the fix into your BodyRecords game folder.
1.3) Add a Free Game to Your Steam Account

Add the free game Cube Racer to your Steam library:

Press Windows + R or open the Run dialog.

Enter:
steam://install/705210 -
This will initiate the download of Cube Racer.

Important: Once added to your library, you can cancel or delete the download.
(This step is necessary for the multiplayer to work correctly.)

Step 2: Launching BodyRecords Multiplayer
2.1) Open Steam and Log Into Your Account

Make sure Steam is running in the background.
2.2) Start the Game

Launch BodyRecords by running the BR.exe file inside the game folder.
Step 3: Hosting a Multiplayer Game
3.1) Create a Lobby

In the game menu, select:

CREATE LOBBY → CONFIRM

Wait for friends to join or manually send them an invite through Steam.
Step 4: Joining a Multiplayer Game
4.1) Connect to a Friend’s Lobby

In the game menu, select:

CONNECT
-

Join your friend's server and start playing!
Note: Always make sure you and your friends have the same game version and installed fixes to avoid connection issues.
