Kaodi is an indie action-adventure game from Outlander Games that explores the psychological effects of war through the journey of a soldier named Barren. After defeating the Shan Republic, Barren struggles with guilt and trauma as he returns home and overcomes the emotional scars left by his role in the conflict.

The game centers on meaningful interactions with various characters who share their own experiences of the war, offering insights into loss, forgiveness, and human dignity. Players navigate both the physical world and Barren’s psyche through the Inner World mechanic, where they can explore his deepest thoughts and interact with NPCs to uncover personal testimonies and complete quests.
