Vegangsters is an indie strategy card game from Poison Pill Games that puts you in the role of a detective investigating the affairs of Tuberculosis City. The game features a unique speed-based combat system where both your cards and your opponent’s actions are determined by time, requiring you to master strategic pacing to succeed. You’ll choose from two different characters, each with completely different mechanics and playstyles, which significantly changes how you approach each mission.

The core gameplay revolves around building decks with over 100 cards available, allowing you to create synergistic combinations that suit your strategy. You’ll be rewarded with cards after winning battles, and additional cards can be purchased from Jenny’s Shop using Rootcoins. Gadgets scattered throughout the city provide powerful deck upgrades and create interesting synergies when combined with your cards.

The tuberculosis city is divided into three game zones, each with its own culture and rules, populated by 30 unique characters that you can interrogate during your investigation. Random events that occur in the districts contribute to the development of characters and the depth of the story, and your decisions can have consequences. The game emphasizes replayability thanks to the dual character system, procedural elements, and deep strategic opportunities provided by the speed-based card mechanics.
