Working alongside historical figures, such as the pioneering engineer Zhan Tianyou, your objective is to transform fledgling railway connections into a proud national system, creating the backbone for Chinas industrial expansion and progress.
The expansion introduces a wealth of new content to deepen the economic Strategy and management gameplay. Players can utilize 8 new authentic Chinese locomotives, including the powerful Rocket of China and the Shènglì 8, to manage their burgeoning fleet. Logistical mastery will be tested by the introduction of more than 20 new regional products to transport, such as traditional Medicine, Bamboo, Gunpowder, and exquisite Silk Products, forcing tycoons to optimize routes and supply chains for maximum profit. With three new, fully voiced scenarios set in historical periods Humble Beginnings (1880), Journey to the West (1890), and Of Bicycles and Fireworks (1900) there are fresh challenges for seasoned players.
