ANGST A TALE OF SURVIVAL is an atmospheric survival adventure set in a surreal world reminiscent of a frozen limbo. The protagonist awakens in a secluded cabin amidst the silent taiga, devoid of any memories of their past. The surrounding reality, known as the Wasteland, is governed by a strict day and night cycle. Daylight provides an opportunity to prepare and gather resources, while with the onset of darkness, the icy wasteland is filled with hostile entities. A sense of constant threat and isolation forces the player to carefully plan every action to survive another day and get closer to unraveling the mystery of their origin.

Exploration is built on roguelite elements, where every failure is not a final defeat but a lesson. Death unlocks new knowledge and crafting recipes, allowing for further progress with each new attempt. The narrative in ANGST A TALE OF SURVIVAL unfolds through quests that gradually shed light on the mysterious past of this place.
