The Temple of Elemental Evil is a 2003 role-playing game developed by Troika Games that brings the classic Dungeons & Dragons Greyhawk module to the PC. The game transports you to a world where an ancient evil cult, once defeated and forgotten, is once again rampaging near the village of Hommlet. Bandits roam the roads, and mysterious forces gather within the ruined temple in Nulba. You will guide a party of five controllable characters and three followers through a branching storyline with multiple paths and endings, investigating the source of the resurgent darkness.

Combat is tactical and turn-based, allowing you to utilize D&D ability to customize your character with skills, feats, and spells for different levels. The updated edition contains over a thousand fixes and improvements thanks to the modding communities Circle of Eight and Temple, which addressed stability, AI, performance, and user interface issues that plagued the original version. The game features a diverse environment filled with dynamic NPCs and fearsome monsters that will challenge your party. Whether you maintain order or fall into chaos, adventures lead straight to the core of evil in classic D&D style.
