About The Game

UBOAT is one of the best lately simulators of a submarine. Here you will need to become the captain of the most genuine German submarine and go to sea, where you are waiting for battles with other ships, adventures and much more. And the first thing I would like to mention is the advanced graphics, thanks to which the game looks many times better than all its competitors. Now you can not just see the boat in the section, but also see for yourself how the crew of the submarine lives during the next mission, what people do, how they behave.

NOTE. Uploaded version: 9 May 2026 [v2026.1 Patch 17]. This is Full Release and latest version of game. The game is already Packaged in Installer and ready to run the game after install, read the instruction below.

Game Details

Full Description

You can look into each cabin of the boat, visit each deck, see for yourself what the command post looks like, and just wander around the boat, examining in detail the whole length and breadth of it. You will see how the sailors are rubbing the floors and restoring order, how your deputies give out orders, how the mechanic is digging into the engine and trying to tidy it up, how the loader is preparing the weapon for battle and not only. And so in UBOAT literally everything — all the work of all crew members is detailed one hundred percent.

UBOAT GAME
You personally will have to give out orders to your subordinates, carry out orders that will be given to you by your command, sink enemy submarines, arrange naval battles on the high seas and do much more. It is worth noting that the developers have done everything possible in order to make the game as realistic as possible, and they did it. Literally everything, including the submarine itself, the crew members, the weather and the sea, looks so realistic that it captures the spirit. True, to admire all these beauties and details of the environment you will simply have no time.

  1. Heres a changelog b117:
    • Worked around the engine's internal per-frame memory allocation. Probably fixes most crashes that were occurring during gameplay.
    • Alarms now persist for longer. The crew doesn't forget about the enemy when they lost him from the sight for a second.
    • Quite a big RAM and VRAM optimizations.
    • Ships following convoy route were occasionally moving backwards or staying in one place after their allies got hit. This should no longer happen.
    • Wreckages weren't spawning at the exact location of the sunk ship.
    • F-class destroyers had erroneous rudder settings leading to very odd behavior.
    • After loading game state, the budget was incorrectly being displayed as zero.
    • Damaging own ship no longer makes player hostile to Germany.
    • Discipline was rebalanced: it's being drained more slowly during alarms, food variety no longer provides discipline bonus during alarms, discipline is being reset to a higher value after depletion. Discipline is still being a big problem at very large depths by design.
    • Calming down panicked sailors now works correctly.
    • Corrupted island in the middle of the Celtic Sea.
    • Food consumption rate was lowered by 33%.
    • Newly recruited officers weren't appearing in the TAB menu.
    • TAB menu wasn't working after loading a game state.
    • It's no longer possible to damage own u-boat with a deck gun.
    • Upgrade screen wasn't working with "FPP Only" gameplay mode.
    • Sandbox progression was sometimes impossible because new assignments couldn't be selected.
    • Saving game state fixes.
    • Few minor errors.

    • Blowing ballast was sometimes impossible when control room was flooded.
    • Character that was stopping to use UZO could rotate during the animation.
    • Periscope's engine was making noise when the periscope was stationary instead of when it was rotated.
    • Launched torpedoes were stopped after the game state was loaded.
    • Torpedo icons on a map from now on have a direction arrow attached to them just like the ships and aircraft.
    • Cursor is becoming visible when ALT is pressed during the use of a gun in manual mode.
    • Certain sound effects could become muted after loading a game state.
    • Gun was randomly becoming locked after firing in a manual mode.
    • Fuel is now always correctly restocked at ports.
    • Sailor could take place of an officer during execution of a task in certain cases.
    • Reputation points label wasn't refreshed after loading a game state.

  4. 2025.1.1 Patch 4
Fix: In some languages, AOB, distance, and velocity values were missing from the subtitles when an officer used the periscope and reported them to the TDC operator.
Fix: Most languages incorrectly referenced torpedo loading instead of mine loading in the tooltip on an officer’s portrait during mine-loading operations.
Fix: After minimizing campaign objectives on the map, their names were not correctly translated in the tooltip displayed on their icons.
Fix: Lines plotted between two ports could not be removed using the eraser tool on the map.
Fix: The TAB menu could remain visible after releasing the TAB key, if for example the UI was quickly disabled using a hotkey during the menu’s fade-in animation.
    AI:
Fix: Resolved the most common (and possibly only) cause of ships in a convoy moving in circles, if their route passed close to land.
    Graphics:
Fix: Sunlight could sometimes shine directly into submarine pens without casting shadows.
    Missions:
Fix: The tutorial continuation prompt no longer appears if the skipper dies during the last assignment and no new assignments can begin until a new skipper is promoted.
    Simulation:
Fix: NPC ships will no longer continue moving if their center of mass shifts forward and their propellers are lifted out of the water.
    Crew:
The controlled officer no longer verbally confirms taking over a station in first-person view when using a manually operable device.
    General:
Periscopes can now be rotated twice as fast in manual mode; binoculars rotate even faster, with additional tuning for smoother control.
Damaging port structures is no longer considered a hostile act, while defending the port from an enemy attack, as it was easy to damage it by accident.
Fix: Resolved an issue that could prevent the periscope from being usable in first-person view.
Fix: Resolved a bug where 100 units of fuel without an icon could appear in the left-side storage window.
Fix: If an officer was firing the AA gun at an aircraft while an engineer was repairing it, the engineer could incorrectly be credited for shooting down the plane.
Fix: Additonal encounters realism setting wasn't correctly stored in save files and could change mid-campaign, if it was adjusted in a different playthrough.
Fix: Resolved an issue that could sometimes make it harder to pass through a hatch in FPP, because the passage was being interrupted.
Fix: Creating a new shift for sailors without giving it a name could cause various issues.
Fix: Various other technical fixes and improvements based on log files from submitted bug reports.
