Later, the world of Homura Hime became infested with so many of these vile creatures that specially trained demon hunters suffered a crushing defeat their numbers were insufficient to protect the population from evil. Then the main character, Homura, appears on the scene. The single-player campaign consists of special stages where the player explores the surrounding area to upgrade their weapons and equipment.
