New Gundam Breaker - CODEX

New Gundam Breaker is the fourth installment in the Gundam Breaker series, which began in 2013 on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. New game — the first part in a series released on PC. Like the previous pieces, the game is a three-dimensional brawler. During the game, the player controls Gunpla, a toy robot model known from the famous Gundam anime. These toys have been sold since 1980. The new Gundam Breaker has almost all the robots used in previous entries in the series and several new ones. The only exceptions are the SD Gundam models that are not in the game.

The mechanics of the gameplay has not changed much. The gameplay focuses on 3 vs 3 fights, during which players must fight and complete tasks from the game. Fights can take place, for example, in a store or factory in large arenas that allow players to move in all directions. Combat is based on action and requires the use of different tactics. In New Gundam Breaker, developers used special internal frames known from modern MG / RG / PG Gundam kits. They are the basis of robots, and they can influence their skills and role in a team.

Since players control toys, the ability to customize them is an important aspect of the game. Players can create their units by modifying and painting various pieces, such as legs or weapons. New items can be purchased at a special store or can be obtained from defeated enemies.

The game features a single-user story campaign and the aforementioned 3-party multiplayer interaction mode. The new Gundam Breaker is powered by the Unreal Engine 4. The toy models and their parts have been accurately recreated, and the arenas are diverse. Unfortunately, the latter are also fruitless and they lack destructible objects.
