Most adventure games talk too much. Occulto, the point & click adventure from Sirio Art Games, developed and published by the studio, says nothing at all, and somehow explains everything. It is a wordless fairy tale where the art carries the plot and your eyes do the reading.

The story begins with an absence. Eliot, a young apprentice, returns to find that his Master has vanished from the alchemical workshop, leaving behind chaos and a secret map that points toward an ancient monastery. Worse, a sinister Presence is out there searching for the Unwritten Book, a forbidden tome of immense power once entrusted to the Master. Guiding Eliot toward the truth means walking a world where every place hides secrets.

The format is the game's boldest decision. There is no dialogue, no voice acting, and no text logs. The story unfolds entirely through animation, environmental storytelling and comic style thought bubbles, turning observation into the primary language. Riddles follow the same rule: answers are hidden inside the world itself, so careful exploration wins where trial and error stalls.

The visuals earned that design. Every background, character and detail is drawn by hand, and the style draws from traditional illustration rather than chasing realism. The result is a dreamlike world inspired by medieval Italy and the Middle East, full of forgotten places, strange encounters, and the feeling that each screen could hang in a gallery.

Puzzles and atmosphere share the same pace. Nothing hurries, nothing shouts, and every solved riddle hands back a new piece of the story. The monastery waits at the end of the map, the Presence keeps closing the distance, and Eliot keeps walking, one quiet revelation at a time.
