Every Friday at five, the office gets a hero. Box Knight is a hack and slash action game from We Made A Thing Studios, which develops and publishes the project. A toxic workplace has twisted the once happy staff into dark and dangerous creatures, and the building is waiting for someone brave enough, or bored enough, to do something about it.

That someone is you. By day you are just a normal office worker, but when the clock strikes five on a Friday you become the Box Knight, protector of the office realm. The transformation is the highlight of the week. You fight evil beings, deliver beers, wine, and non alcoholic beverages to coworkers in need, and stand as a champion of company culture in a workplace that has lost its soul.

The liberation runs floor by floor. Department by department, you clear the toxic scourge from the company with an array of weapons, special attacks, and executions, climbing the office tower toward the top. At the summit waits the CEO, and the plan is simple: defeat them in glorious battle, or die trying and do it all over again next week.

The combat is fast, tactical, and rewarding. It is easy to pick up and harder to master, and randomization makes every run different. Cutting through the horde room by room stays fun whether you play carefully or charge in swinging, and the weekly reset turns failure into part of the joke. The bigger fights test everything the week has taught you.

The premise carries the whole experience with charm. Meeting rooms become arenas, break rooms become checkpoints, and the corporate ladder becomes a boss rush. Box Knight is office satire with a sword, built for players who like their action games light on their feet and heavy on personality.
