As for the gameplay, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered does not make any changes to the original. Full Description

Although the core of the game has remained unchanged, FF VIII has also made many changes to Final Fantasy VII. Key mechanics — GF, which is a modified version of the battles from the previous entries. Each of them can be assigned one character, which allows him to use special abilities, as well as cause a certain GF on the battlefield. They gain experience as heroes, which helps them to develop and acquire new skills. The creators also rebuilt spell systems, currencies, and weapons and added scaling to the player’s character level. As a result, players have much more opportunities to customize their team to cope with any task.

In stylistic terms, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is no different from the original version of the PlayStation. The three-dimensional visual setting has been updated, offering, among other things, better textures and support for higher resolutions. The quality of the soundtrack, written by renowned composer Nobuo Uematsu, has also been improved.

How to Install
