Close Combat The Bloody First is the latest version in the popular Close Combat series, the first to use the new 3D Archon engine. The game combines the classic tactical gameplay Close Combat with battles that take place in a variety of three-dimensional landscapes, including rocky ridges, narrow valleys and dense villages. The transition to 3D also allows you to increase the level of detail for example, specific types of ammunition used by each weapon are simulated with more realistic movement and physics of shells.

Overview

The player from the entire series first visits the battlefields in Tunisia and Sicily, and also re-illuminates the campaign in Normandy. With 3 theaters of war, the game focuses on a tactical level, giving you the command of the 1st Infantry Division. Guide people through a series of related operations and battles from Longstop Hill in Tunisia to Morten in Normandy. You will need to keep an eye on your people, come up with the best combination of fire and movement, know when they need to eat armored vehicles, and decide when to turn to support artillery and aircraft. You will command your units in various close combat situations, and you will need to learn how to best combine the use of small arms, mortars, machine guns, armored vehicles, tanks and anti-tank guns to achieve victory.

Instructions

1. The first thing we do is download the game’s installation files. 
2. Mount or burn the ISO image in the disk emulator (UltraISO program). 
3. During the installation, we specify the location on the disk where we want to install it. 
4. Wait until the installation process is complete, a shortcut will appear on the desktop. 
5. Download & install Update v1.1.7, in game folder.
5. Copy the contents of the folder «CODEX» in the folder with the game. 
6. Start the game.

Update v1.0.4:
• Fix for issuing rendering unit icon connectors on low end video hardware.
• Fix for possible negative estimated range at extremely short ranges.
 
Update v1.0.3:
• Fixed issue where some terrain objects were not always applying their terrain effects across their entire area.
• Turreted vehicles should no longer get stuck with 'WRONG FACING' status for the gunner.
• Higher visual quality LOS tool option added to game options.
• Unit Defend and Ambush order arcs are no longer hit-tested when you are in the middle of giving an order.
• Dead soldiers and vehicles are no longer hit tested when you are in the middle of giving an order.

• Press ‘P’ key to toggle cursor terrain and coordinate display.
• Mouse over an object and hit PgUp/PgDn to cycle through the possible variations in model / texture.
• Better alignment of fences and walls when placing them in a row.
• Battle damage type objects (foxhole, gun pit, craters) cannot be created via the editor and no longer show up in the object list. May be implemented in the future.
• Fix for mods loading custom maps while using the stock campaign.
