The Technomancer can be blamed for anything, but the Martian settlements of the developers are just fine. In the gloomy and seemingly cramped Ophir — a textbook-totalitarian architecture. Propaganda posters about a bright future hang on massive walls, beggars and prostitutes sit in dirty and dark alleys.

The city of Noctis merchants is less like a decent town, but there are even more interesting details. And huge locations along which you will have to travel almost the entire game, and small spots in the desert, which you visit only a couple of times, may look good. Not impressed by the quality of the picture as a whole, Spiders often demonstrates truly picturesque views. It is a pity that this game is not about abandoned villages.

Because life on Mars is not even in the most densely populated areas. Hear one or two conversations — consider yourself lucky. Most NPCs are faceless extras. Some have grown into the ground, others are moving along uncomplicated routes, but almost everyone is silent for some reason. The most terrible sight is the ugly nocturnal moths, silently making strange passes, which usually ends with an inviting pat on the buttocks.
