MAMIYA — is an immersive visual novel set in Tokyo during the year the world is believed to end. Users take on the role of a group of young people who are struggling with their own existential crises. The plot revolves around the enigmatic Mamiya, a mysterious woman who seems to hold the key to the group’s survival. Gameplay focuses on making decisions that affect the direction of the story. Players must navigate complex dialogue trees and make decisions that will determine the outcome. Dpending on the choices made throughout the story.
The characters in MAMIYA include the protagonist as well as other group members including Yamaoka, Ohashi, and Kuroda. Items and weapons are not the main element, as the story is mostly driven by dialogue and decision making. The action takes place in various locations in the Japanese capital, including the adventurer’s apartment, a local cafe and a shrine. The game world itself is a reflection of the emotional state of those you meet, and the settlement takes on a surreal and dreamy character. The project offers two modes standard and New Game+, which becomes available after a single completion, offering branched paths for spending time.
