Lacuna A Sci-Fi Noir Adventure — is a 2D science fiction and noir adventure game. This is another indie game released by Assemble Entertainment, developed by the German studio DigiTales Interactive. As the name suggests, Lacuna A Sci-Fi Noir Adventure takes us to the distant future, to a huge metropolis where a high-profile murder is taking place. The case is being investigated by Neil Konrad, a CDI agent. He does not realize that this investigation will turn his life and the entire solar system upside down. DigiTales debut game is inspired by classic point-and-click adventure games, but has been made many changes from the typical genre.

Lacuna A Sci-Fi Noir Adventure ditches inventory management, quirky puzzles, repetitive dialogue and point-and-click mechanics in favor of a control system drawn from 2D platformers and action games, as well as story-driven conversations and puzzles games. The authors also pay great attention to the choice of the main character. During the game, Neil Konrad must constantly make difficult decisions, such as choosing between the law of the state and the safety of his loved ones. Each action has its own consequences, which ultimately lead to one of many endings.
