Scene Investigators is a representative of a fairly popular genre where users are literally engaged in solving crimes. Everything is done in the spirit of the best detective stories, when only deductive thinking and logic can lead to the desired solution. The main character is preparing to become a private investigator to start his career. But before that, he has to resolve several cases within the framework of his probation. Every fragment is important, so you need to approach the solution of the situation as scrupulously as possible. Before the start of each level in Scene Investigators, the system displays a special column with key questions about the case. When the user has collected the required amount of information, he can return to it and enter answers.

As for the mechanics directly used in the project, it all comes down to the classic quest scheme. Being in a confined space, you need to interact with objects in order to obtain information about the crime that has occurred. The 70/30 principle applies — most of the evidence must be found for the case to be considered solved. At the same time, even if a gamer really wants to achieve 100% and complete progress, this will be impossible. Some of the evidence will simply be unavailable, so you will have to limit yourself to existing records, things or something similar. All cases shown in the game are completely unique, so you will have to change your approach to the solution over and over again.
