Dark Deity 2 is a turn-based tactical RPG that builds on the foundation of its predecessor. The title is set on the continent of Verroa, where political instability and the threat of war reign. The Asverellian Empire views the landmass as a potential new territory, and the player must lead a group of 20 heroes through this turmoil. They are part of the Eternal Delegation, tasked with navigating the complexities of alliances and military strategy in a setting on the brink of conflict.

At the core of Dark Deity 2 is tactical combat, where players lead their heroes into a variety of turn-based battles. Each has access to a wide range of classes, each with unique abilities and attributes. This deep customization allows players to experiment with different settings, making each playthrough different. The decisions made during the campaign affect both the story and the strength of the gamer’s army. Players are encouraged to explore different tactical approaches to overcome the challenges ahead.
