THE DESCENT VR is a psychological horror simulator developed by Celeritas Games in which you play as an investigative journalist who returns to Rockwell, a mining town with a dark history of accidents and disappearances. Armed with a camera, you will explore abandoned mine tunnels to uncover the truth, while encountering ghostly apparitions lurking in the darkness. The game offers an immersive VR horror experience with detailed graphics and atmospheric sound design, providing approximately 2 hours of story-driven gameplay with various collectibles to find.

The game is compatible with major VR headsets including Oculus Rift/Rift S, HTC Vive, Valve Index, and Meta Quest (via Link Cable), and supports a variety of comfort options including teleportation, smooth movement, and optional distance lock. The game can be played seated, standing, or room-scale, although players with photosensitive epilepsy should exercise caution.
